# E-commerce

The Chatlyst Commerce feature enables the chatbot to assist customers with shopping-related tasks directly within the chat interface. Once activated, the chatbot can handle automated e-commerce inquiries, suggest items to customers, and provide updates on purchases without requiring a human agent.

#### Important Billing Notice

Before enabling this integration, please note the changes to billing. Activating Chatlyst Commerce will charge **one additional credit** for every message processed by the chatbot.

#### Enabling Chatlyst Commerce

To activate this feature, locate the E-commerce Integration (Chatlyst Commerce) setting and toggle the switch to the On position.

#### Understanding the Integration

Connecting an online store to Chatlyst allows the chatbot to retrieve specific data directly from the store's database. By establishing this connection, the chatbot gains access to three key areas of information:

* **Product Data**: The chatbot can access item names, descriptions, and pricing to provide product details to customers.
* **Inventory Data**: The chatbot can check real-time stock levels to accurately inform customers if specific items are currently available or sold out.
* **Order Data**: The chatbot can retrieve fulfillment and shipping statuses, allowing customers to easily track their purchases.

#### Connecting Your Shopline Store

2. **API Token**

Find the Store Handle and API Token from the Shopline platform.

1. Paste the unique store handle into the **Store Handle** field.
2. Paste the generated Admin API Access Token into the **API Token** field.
3. Select the **Save** to apply the settings and complete the integration.
